ISL E&SD supports the NRC’s Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research with the Code Application and Maintenance Program (CAMP). CAMP is an international program for sharing assessments, research, code development, and accident analysis for reactor and plant systems. Approximately 25 countries around the world participate in CAMP. ISL E&SD is responsible for planning, organizing, and providing logistical and technical support to the NRC for two semi-annual meetings (one in the spring and one in the fall) to review progress and to report on code development and assessment status.
